I've decided, after having visited Greece last weekend for Ollie's wedding, and now being back here in England ... I'm moving to Greece sometime. Probably not until I've retired from playing Quidditch, but it was so pretty there and all the gorgeous greek women that I want to just go back and stay and work on my tan all day.
Congratulations to Oliver and Sally, by the way. The wedding was gorgeous, and you two were so obviously happy together.
Back on the pitch this weekend, against Caerphilly. I'm just excited to be playing again, this break has been way too long.

As nice as it is to have last weekend and the next couple weekends off, I'd like to get back out on the pitch and work on getting the Magpies' ranking a bit higher. I know we've the whole season ahead of us, of course, but I don't want to start getting rusty!
Ollie, you better come back from your honeymoon all rested and ready to kick Catapult arse! (Speaking of: brilliant idea having your wedding in Greece. It gives all your friends the perfect excuse to travel someplace pretty.)

Well. That match could have gone better.
Anyone know why the hell we just played three weeks in a row? Because it makes me feel better, I'm using that as the reason we lost so horribly were off our game today.
At least we've next weekend off.

You're not working tonight, right? I just got out of a very long meeting at the Hearth office and after a dismal game, too and was thinking of stopping at the video store and renting a really bad movie to watch. With popcorn and vast amounts of chocolate, too. Are you interested in joining me?

Unrelatedly, Hestia's Hearth is happy to announce that, thanks to many kind donations, we will be purchasing a building on Diagon Alley this week, which will be turned into our very own soup kitchen. We'll still have a lot of work to do before we can open for business, but it's very exciting. We would like to thank everyone who has made a donation to our organisation, because you have helped make this dream a reality.

Hestia's Hearth is pleased to announce that we nearly have all the funds we will need to start up a soup kitchen. We're hoping that after the Gala in July, we'll have more than enough to begin construction. Malina and I were scouting locations this past weekend, we're thinking of building somewhere in the Diagon Alley area, as it is something of a rather central location for wizardkind.
That being said, we'd also like to remind everyone that you don't have to wait for our huge events in July and December to donate, Hestia's Hearth does accept donations year-round, big or small.
And, in non-Hestia's Hearth news, I am definitely looking forward to the start of the Quidditch season next weekend. Of course, the Magpies aren't playing until the 12th, but the start of the season is exciting regardless.
Also, I am now officially roommateless, as Lyra moved out this afternoon. I'll probably put an ad in the Prophet sometime later this week.

Faaaantastic. As of the end of the month, I will be roommateless. Lyra just let me know that she's moving out on the 31st, since she's paid up on rent through the end of the month. I thought "it's not you, it's me" was only for dating-type breakups.
It's not like I really need a roommate, I can afford the flat on my own, but it's rather boring to live by youself, especially in a two-bedroom flat. Maybe I'll just get a pet, instead of another roommate. I could get a parrot and teach it how to talk. I'm sure those conversations would be fascinating.
Or, you know, I'll just take out another ad for a roommate.
